It's time to get a new permanent co-host, Kelly.

I think her husband will be the clear favorite to replace Strahan.

I'd be ok with Mark being her co-host but I don't think that would be good for them as a couple... simply TOO much together time.

So far my preference for the job is Fred Savage. I really enjoyed his week and would love to see him there permanently.

Mark won't host the show they would run out of things to talk about since they are married. I haven't had a chance to watch Fred last week co hosting. I seen episodes of him hosting. if he toned it down a bit and stop acting like he had 4 cups of coffee with a shot of espresso he would be good. He keeps the conversation flowing and does his home work with guests and ask good questions.

reply

I don't like the episodes with Mark. I feel Kelly is different when he is hosting. I like them both but I don't enjoy watching when he is on.

Another thought. They seem to have a good marriage. I think that would test it.

LOVE Fred Savage.......seems like a very decent, down-to-earth guy, and because he's been in the business so long (actor/director) one gets the impression he will use that experience to try and get the most out of prospective guests.

My only other choice would be Jerry O'Connell. He too brings good 'energy', but can also be very funny and spontaneous. Like Fred, been in the biz from childhood on, yet comes across as very decent and "normal"......NOT something that can usually be said about most ex-childhood stars ! 

I like Fred Savage - he's intelligent and seems down to earth and sincere.

Don't like Jerry O'Connell - he's too much of a silly clown and he gets real tiresome real quick.

Completely agree with you Jerry O' Connel tries too hard and I think he needs to let the trivia dancers have their few seconds of tv time for them NOT JERRY

reply

Love Jerry O'Connell as well and hope that he gets the gig. I'm sick of watching revolving co-hosts.

reply

He lives in LA. Don't know if he would make the move. He has little ones. I feel sad for him. I think he wants to work but is having a hard time getting a gig. He does interview guests well. He listens and follows up on their answers. I think a lot of these talk show folks ask questions but don't really listen to their guests. I find Jerry really seems interested and I think the guests sense that and open a little more. I think his interview with Tom Selleck is a good example.

Kelly and Morris Chestnut had great chemistry when he guest hosted a few weeks ago.

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him everyday. He's fine as hell! Too bad he already has a job.

I like Fred Savage also. Very down to earth and likeable. I don't like Jerry O'connell He's too over the top and silly acting. After awhile he just gets on your nerves.Enough already. I also didn't like Carrie Ann Inaba. She has that annoying giggle that really gets under your skin.I don't like when Kelly has females as co hosts. Then there's too much cackling.Very annoying. You need a guy to balance it out.
