whether they obtained the rights to the theme song? I e-mailed you
earlier about this concern.
It's going to be replaced; I'm going to post news on that soon.
That kinda sucks but at leat we get the episodes.

Hey, i know the theme song is called "Ob la di, ob la da" orignially performed by the Beatles by I don't remember if it's a different version in the show. Good luck!

Of course it's a different version than the original by The Beatles. (You can all thank Michael Jackson for buying the Beatles catalogue of music and then not allowing this song to be used at all!!!) For the show it was sung by the cast (primarily with Patti Lupone leading) but you can hear the rest of the "Thatcher Family" also singing. To hear the tv show version I once again point to the website http://www.kellie.com/ and you will find it there.

It's sad that they have to replace the theme song, but hey if that means they can finally release the DVD's then I'll live with it. I wonder how much it would have cost to have it on it. I have a couple of episodes on VHS, so at least I have that to remember it.
