Gail Williamson, the executive director of Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles, started a petition about a year ago to get the show on dvd. She had a meeting with Warner Bros not long after starting the petition. I received an email from her today and she said season 1 will be out summer '06. She also said they are already talking about what to put as extras on the season 2 set. I don't know how reliable this is, but it sounds good!

shareI can't wait . I loved the show , it was my favorite. Unfortunately I moved the week the final show came on and never got to see it . I have been mad every since . Wish I had been able to see it . It was the only one in the series I never saw .

Some fans of "Life Goes On" say they were disappointed with the final episode of the show. Personally, I have not seen it myself, but I heard that it is a "vision of the future" type scenario dealing with the characters at a later time period. I'm looking forward to the DVD release and I hope you do finally get to see that last episode.
yeah -- it does take a look at life several years in the future. very touching wrap-up to the series, i thought. somewhere i've still got it on vhs, fuzzy reception & all. (my rabbit ears didn't pull in abc particularly well back then ... of course, where i live now, without cable i might as well sit & try watching the microwave. *sigh*)

This could be a GREAT year for TV DVD! Theyre dropping X-files sets to AFFORDABLE prices and the final Dawson Creek season! And of course, the Holy Grail........Twin Peaks Season 2? Could it finally come out after years in production?

The theme song is as important as the show!!! It's a letdown that it's
replaced but at least it's going to be released!! Maybe we can learn to
like it!! It's too bad we can't hear the whole theme song before
we actualy get the DVD of the show like on some website they could let
us pre-hear the theme song so we don't get any surprises when we finaly
get the DVD!! The new theme song better live up to the old one!!
