Episode question...

I'm a big Patti LuPone fan, so i recently picked up the first season of life goes on and now i'm hooked :) I was very young when the show aired, and the only episode I can remember (aside from the recently viewed first season), was one involving Corky accidently shooting his father...or am I confusing this with another show...was this in fact an episode? Anyone know the title or season number?? Also, are there plans to release the following seasons to DVD?

I don't remember to be honest. I really got into the show when I was in about 3rd grade. I then found out they played reruns of it when I was going into 8th grade. I don't remember that episode but now I am so curious! I tried doing an online search but sort of gave up. Something did pop up on jumptheshark.com.. So I guess he did?

I think I found it.....3rd season, an episode titled "loaded question"...this was tv.com's description--

"The Thatcher household is burglarized. Drew and Libby debate over whether having a gun is the best thing to do. Corky and Arnold are alone watching (what else, a cop show) when Corky hears sounds from outside. He gets the gun, goes outside in that sneaky cop fashion (emulating the show) and fires. Turns out Marquis was returning something, and the family realizes how much they overreacted.."

sounds like that must be it....course, i'll never get to see it unless they release the other seasons on dvd!

That was the episode. The whole family was on edge because of the break-in. Corky heard someone outside and grabbed the gun. His parents were coming home. He took the gun outside. He fired the gun but it didn't hit anything. Drew sees him and yells, "Corky!". Then Drew takes the gun away. It was just that Marquis guy coming over to help Paige with her welding. That's all I remember.
