Ok, I was reading a review and it said that Becca and Jesse married and I remember Becca talking to her son and saying stuff about "daddy" who was clearly Jesse. So my question is, how did Becca and Jesse have sex and have a kid without passing the AIDS along?

The season premiere episode of season 4 provides helpful info. The episode takes place in the future & Becca is married to a completely different man & they visit her old house & she has all these memories of her & Jesse. So the son that she has was probably named after Jesse (to keep the memory alive) & he wasn't the father.

No...The season 3 premiere featured an older Becca (played by another actress) telling her husband about Jesse for the first time. The final episode of the series is told as a flashback with older Becca (this time actually played by Kellie Martin)telling her son what happened to her and Jesse after high school. Basically, Jesse breaks up with Becca right before graduation; she goes to college, he goes to Paris. Then they get back together, they get married, and eventually he dies. The final bit of dialogue between Becca and her son goes something like this:
Son: That's a sad story.
Becca: It's a true story.
Son: I wish I could've known him.
Becca: I wish everyone could have known him. He was a wonderful man.
Son: Like Daddy?
Becca: Like Daddy.
Son: I love you, Mom.
Becca: I love you too, Jesse.
There has been a lot of talk as to whether or not the child is actually Jesse's; Becca gets a funny look in her eye when she says "Like Daddy" and there is a scene earlier in the episode where she and Jesse are talking and she expresses interest in having his baby and he says absolutely not. I think we are supposed to infer that Becca remarried after Jesse died, had a child, and named him after Jesse.
And that's that.
The thing is if Jesse and Becca had intercourse then Becca and the infant boy would have came down with HIV or AIDS you know so more than likely he is not of any relations to Jesse. That is my theory on that.
shareThat's not necessarily true. A woman with HIV has a good chance of giving birth to a healthy child as long as she is properly treated during the pregnancy. Or at least that's what they said on Grey's Anatomy :P
But I still don't think that Jesse is the father of Becca's son.
You also have to remember that the medical field has changed in 19 years almost 20 years ago now. Back then a woman who has HIV could pass it onto the infant back in the late 80's and a part of the 90's as well you know.
That is what you have to remember but just because Grey's Anatomy says that on the show does not mean that it is true because I read the paper and watch the news and I have not heard any new research or medical procedure that states a woman with HIV will not pass it onto their infant.
It could possibly be the guy she had a crush on throughout high school. I cannot remember the characters name off hand right now.

I only remember that Magic Johnson was diagnosed with HIV right after he got married but his wife went on to have at least one healthy baby. I think they have more.
I loved this show, and was hoping to find it on DVD. Were you talking about Tyler? The cool guy at school that Becca loved? Wasn't he killed off in one of the episodes after she met Jesse?
Yeah you are right about Tyler being killed off in a car accident. This was a great show to watch! I wish they had more shows like this on today.

Your final dialogue is fairly spot-on. I contend that after Jesse died Becca married Ray, and it is RAY that the child refers to as "Daddy". This would give full closure to many loose ends to the story. Ray would have been perfect as a second husband for Becca, because he loved her for two reasons:
1} Because he loved her, and
2} Her passion and compassion for Jesse.
Ray would never want to take anything away of the love that Becca had for Jesse and would be honored to name his child "Jesse" because, as we saw in the final episodes of the series Ray wasn't just another dumb guy, but a very intense, smart, and caring man, who I contend loved Jesse in his own way, as only guys can for friends.
And THAT'S that!

That's a nice thought, but we find out in the episode "Bec to the Future" that her future husband is a cardiologist named David.
