The episode where if a Newcomer drank a substance called "sardinac", and they fell in love with the first person they saw. And Matt bust in on an apartment where the male Newcomer had just drank a dose of it, looked up, and fell in love with Matt!!

Yup. The Newcomer female with the scarred face who put the stuff in tea. That was a great episode. I can't believe you remember what it was called!

Yes! And then George became attracted to the woman's internet picture until she came to the police station to answer questions. George found out she was an airhead and the attraction wore off.
The male Newcomer ended up saving Matt's life somehow, right? Did the drug wear off or was there a cure?

I remember if you did not have sex with the person who took the potion ,it would wear off in about a month .
shareFrom what I remember at the end the you see the newcomer outside of the police station with flowers for matt. But winds up throwing them away and then walking off, showing the effects were wearing off or had worn off.

I think he threw them away because he knew Matt wouldn't reciprocate his gesture. He kept trying because of the sardinac, but he wanted Matt to be happy so he left.
Almost a sad scene!
