Remember the whole storyline of the Francisco's new baby being born? The mildy retarded janitor had to help fertilize George's wife in a ceremony in front of everyone and then she and George went upstairs to finish. Then there was a ceremony to transer the fetus from mother to father so they both could share in the experience. I loved it! This show depicted that aliens can behave more humane than humans. But can any husbands out there feel comfortable if in human society another man had to first fertilize your wife?

as it is it would lead to jealousy and murder in a degree unheard of (and yes, i did hear of the holocaust)

That's not quite correct: it's the Binnaum (Albert) who's not genetically related to the child an the Gannaum (George) is the biological father. In plaintext that means that George is the "father" of May's and Albert's child

I don't think it is any different then a woman carrying another woman's baby in side her when they fertilizes it with the father's sperms. Or how about artificial insemination, it is another man's baby that the woman is carrying only the daddy is not included. I think it is all fansinating about reproduction.

All the women who had babies at this time that I knew including myself had a ball laughing at George's discomfort when he got gas, Backaches, urinary frequency and all the other inconveniences that go along with pregnancy and human males don't experience when their mates are pregnant.
