I DON'T F-ING BELIEVE THIS!!!!

I was just finishing watching the last episode on the DVD collection; 'Green Eye' and apparently I will not get to see the conclusion to the episode. I won't get to know if George and his family survive the disease? Or if Matt and Cathy really hook up in the end? Or if Buck and his teacher Marylin hook up too? Damn it! The best shows are always cancelled just when it is getting better. There have better be a DVD with the conclusion of the episode, I desperatly want to see what happens at the end.

It is out on video and it is called Alien Nation Dark Horizon

It is out on Dvd, and also if you have cable, Cinemax plays that movie at least 5 times a month... Plus 2 of the ones they made after it. There was nothing about Buck and Marilyn in any of the 5 movies that followed, but the rest of your questions are MORE than answered in all of the movies. Do a search on IMDB for "Alien Nation", and you will find those movies... They were respectively:

Alien Nation: Dark Horizon
Alien Nation: Body and Soul
Alien Nation: The Enemy Within
Alien Nation: Millenium
Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy

All of them are amazing, and continue the story. Vessna was somehow written out after like the 3rd one, but the rest of the characters continue. I won't spoil it for you but you will LOVE them!!!

All 5 made for tv movies will be in a boxset on April 15, 2008.

I will never understand why they wrote Vessna out after the like the third installment of the movies; she was such a huge part of the show, w/George being pregnant, it was just a brilliant show and I would've loved to see Vessna grown a little w/having Emily as her big sister.. I don't understand why they chose to do that.. I'm trying to watch these movies online; I already watched them like a 100 times already but can never get enough. Is there a place online where we can watch it for free (the movies). I'm on disability so I don't have a lot of money to buy these movies (are the movies a package deal- w/all of them together to buy or they sell them individually?) I miss this show so much it was my fave along w/my friends and family as well - the just loved it so much - I was obsessed w/Matt so much, Gary Graham was so hot and I loved him w/Cathy (she was so beautiful); they had such a natural undeniable chemistry together (romantically of course) and the very last episode he realized how much in love he was w/her, but she pointed out how diff they were and that they could never have a normal relationship - well after watching one of the movies they finally get together.. but I really think that leaving out Vessna was a bad choice esp bc it also had a lot to do w/the uncle (who died, and I loved) wanted them to name her that...I have to find a place to watch online, I'm google where there is a possibility also if they sell all the movies as a package deal, maybe I will start trying to save money each month so I can buy it but w/my disability benefit check it will be hard esp in this economy.

Neither did I...
First thing I noticed in the movie Dark Horizon, was that they re-mad that episode.
There are a few inconsistencies from the get-go. The "virus", as they call it, was introduced in the final episode as "bacterium" only. Also, the Fransisco-family got exposed in a diffrent manner, broad daylight and when George wasn't at home, but on duty.

I advise against anyone considering watching the episode no. 22. That way you won't feel annoyed with the "ending" of the series.

I guess the reason for the re-make was that they got snagged on the series continuation, then it took about 4 or so years before they made another movie, and by then the "kids" playing Buck and Emily had grown significantly.

Gary Graham's hairstyle btw is way diffrent, as well as most other actors faces...

I'm watching the movie (Dark Horizon) right now, and George just cracked a funny one: "I just can't just sit around the hospital with Moby Dick in my hand".
That one cracked me up =0)

I think it's too bad that they'll have to hold back on the language just because it's made for TV. But quite often they manage to skim the surface of what NOT to say, kind of barely legal.

You must see Dark Horizon, part of the five follow ups to the series. Caution though as they're only available on region 1 dvd. Dark Horizon and udara Legacy are superb

The movie "Dark Horizon" is the second part of the finale. Watch it, it's a freaking amazing movie. Actually all the movies are good (the others take place after Dark Horizon, since DH couldn't wrap up everything), but DH is by far my favourite.

For those coming here due to El Rey Network rearing the series, be aware that they aren't airing episode 23 since it clashes with Dark Horizons... They are showing 22 episodes from the first season and then going onto the 5 tv movies
