According to www.tracking-board.com/tb-exclusive-alien-nation-set-for-another-round -at-fox/ there will be a reboot.
There's something I don't understand about this article, though. It says:

Fox ... teamed up with the SyFy channel in 2009 for a complete reboot of the TV series. Though fans were enthusiastic about a modern resurgence of the classic story, the project never got off the ground, filming only a pilot and being cancelled before much of the season could get on the air.

Is there realy an unaired "Alien Nation"-reboot-pilot? I've never heard about this before.
