Don't Tell Mom, The Babysitter's Been Shoved Into The Woodchipper

Did anyone else find that "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead" was oddly similar to "Woodchipper Massacre"? Without the micro-budget and horror aspect, of course...

I wonder if it was meant as a slight homage, or if the director of Don't Tell Mom is completely clueless to the parallels.

Boy, that's some stupid music when the father drives out of the garage!

"Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo"

It's like that scene in Fearless Hyena(1979) when Jackie Chan does kung fu kata to Hal Roach-like music!

Why yes, of course. Though I doubt the director of Don't Tell Mom ever heard of this movie.
