because of how hilariously bad it is in places, particularly the ending.
But it had a nice atmosphere and some good photography and kept me interested in the movie throughout. For a 3.8 rating I was expecting a lot worse.

I enjoy this movie as well. It has a creepy, Gothic atmosphere for those who are into that and also a lot of blood, violence, and nudity so I think it can satisfy fans of different kinds of horror films. I actually like the ending because it had kind of a Rosemary's Baby vibe about it.
The only complaint I have is that some of the acting wasn't the best (particularly from Leslie and Tommy). Though Tommy I give a break since he was so young. You can't always expect Oscar worthy acting from children. Leslie I don't know what they were thinking by casting that actress to be honest. I'm sure she is good at other things, but acting just didn't seem to be her thing.
