Region 1 Release Available?

I just picked up a copy of Anthony Hickox's second featue 'Sundown - The Vampire In Retreat' the whole package was spot on in terms of the actual film itself as well as the extras.

I especially loved the commentary, as with any really good horror movie it's always nice to hear how they made the movie.

I know that a Region 2 Lionsgate release is available of Waxwork, this release however is of the no thrills variety.

Does anyone out there know if a Region 1 version is available with extras, including a directors commentary?

R1 release is worse than R2 Lionsgate. Both have no extras but Lionsgate R2 DVD is anamorphic widescreen and R1 is fullscreen 4:3.

Yeah..

The Region 2 Widesceen Edition is Cut (It's the Rated-R Version) + you get the Trailer.

The Region 1 Fullscreen Edition is the Unrated + you get the sequel Waxwork II Lost in Time.

The best edition sofar is the german Dragon release The movie is Fullscreen Unrated and it contains a Behind The Scenes Documentary + the Trailer.

I own both the Region 1 and the Region 2 Dragon release...
Was on my way to buy the Widescreen edition but decided to wait for a Special Edition. Lionsgate will release this in the near future I'm shure.

The old Fullframe Colombia Region 2 is uncut.

But what I've heard the new Lionsgate is Widescreen and the CUT version.
