Sick of Censors!
Does anyone know where i can get an uncut copy of this movie?
shareAs far as I know, this double feature by Artisan is uncut:

:EDIT:
I just bought that double feature and did a few comparisons. It really is fully uncut, even though the box claims it to be the R-rated version. Video quality is overall a bit mediocre, though.
I'm trying to think because it's been a long while. But I don't remember there being any different scenes in the VHS version I used to have and the Artisan DVD. Maybe I had the uncut VHS, I'm not sure.

I just saw it in London at a festival when it was new and I swear there was more splatter, especially the bottles in the vampire that's shown in the Artisan double. Other scenes too, Macnee's death. After that we in the UK got a heavily censored vhs and I never checked our dvd as I got the Artisan which was much better but still not as gory as I remember.
shareThis is copy and pasted from my last comment on the subject:
Dont know about the modded stuff the other people said so Ill include my two cents. Here is what I noticed in the 2 in 1 dvd version in comparison to the original VHS. I would say it is about 1 second total for each scene of violence.
The Werewolf scene:
- Cuts before the complete head rip
The Vampire scene:
- Cuts before the full head explosion in the cellar.
- Cuts before you see the piece from the leg picked off.
Mummy scene:
- Cuts before the black ooze stuff comes out of the mummy (VERY noticeable because the next seen his mouth and body has residue dripping).
- Cuts before the full head step.
Basically nothing was completely removed but a few frames of gore. The movie has the before and after but not the middle part actually showing the action. It would be like seeing a car get up to the point where it is about to hit a guy, then showing his body laying there, cutting out the impact and flying through the air. ALMOST indiscernible stuff, unless you are a gore freak like myself.
Thanks for the info. Would be nice if you could post which VHS release you've compared it to.
Also, I think it should still be noted that, even if the frames you mentioned really are missing, the Artisan double feature is indeed an unrated cut and not the significantly censored R-rated version.
It's streaming on Netflix right now.

Not sure which version I saw originally, but it was a VHS from a rental place, lol.
And I definitely still recommend getting the DVD, it doesnt cut much, thats for sure. Hopefully a blu ray will come out someday...
