Who's better, Judge or Fred
I thought Judge Reinhold did an incredibly convincing impression and suspended my disbelief so I could enjoy his act. Not so much for Fred, although his script wasn't as funny as Judge's. But Judge's facial expressions were cool. Charles Laughton, the famous "serious" British actor once was so impressed by Bud Abbott's use of the "Double-take", that is, to react late to something with a "double-take" of shock in facial expression, which can be hilarious, particularly in the hands of a burlesque comedian. So Laughton took a surprisingly Low-brow role with Lou Costello in a spoof on Robert Newton's pirate character in Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd, where he learned and executed some hilarious burlesque double-takes.
