I don't know THAT movie but of all my favorite body switch movies, Vice Versa is the best. It's the defintely the most faithful to the genre. (stuffy, successful, career-oriented parent switches places with their with polar opposite "rockin" underachieving kid. When the switch takes place the kid is always overly serious and goes to school with a "know-it-all" attitude that ends up getting them into more trouble than they thought!!! Meanwhile the childish-parent skips work and a montage ensues where they do everything they've always wanted to do as adults (i.e. go shopping with credit cards/ eat lots of junk food/ dance around the house in their underwear.) Then they go to work and make an ass out of themselves but somehow their youthful energy always wins over their boss/advances their careers. In the end, they slowly learn lessons about each other and become even more close as they team up to try to switch back. All around an awesome example. Other good ones....

Like Father Like Son
Freaky Friday (All 3 versions including the made-for-TV ones)

my favorite swap movie was the acadamy award winning (sarcastic) Rob Schneider film; The Hot Chick where a 30 something year old man switches bodies with a spoiled teenager

18 AGAIN!

Vice Versa is the best, hands down.

18 Again! I only watch for the cameo by quintessential Punk band, The Dickies.

All of Me with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin in one body is very good too.

The movie with the monkey was a Disney thing with that goofball with the big ears. I can't even force myself to Google him.

The "body swapping" thing was done as a TV show in the mid-70's as "Big John, Little John" which was very bad. A 45 year-old school teacher changed into a 12 year-old kid after taking a sip from the fountain of youth. He would change ages back and forth without warning or being able to control the metamorphosis.

This is the only body-swap movie ever produced so I am not sure how to answer that question.

Wrong I'm afraid. This is in fact a Remake/modenisation of a 1948 film of the same name, of which "Freaky Friday" is also an adaption, as is "Like Father Like Son". So how you can say this is the only one I don't know.

In addition the original book was also filmed in 1916, 1971, and teliveised in 1937, 1961, and 1981.

I was thinking the same thing. The concept is just so amazingly original and unique.

So weird, I was always forget about All of Me. Probably because I focus more on this dad/son switcheroo time period. All of Me is probably my favorite of all of those, but of this 1987/88 time period...

1. Like Father, Like Son
2. Vice Versa
3. Big
4. 18 Again!

(I don't count Dream a Little Dream, which is a straight-to-video quality Corey on Corey mess).
