A lot of this "material" was perfectly fine back in the 1980s, and a lot of us kids who saw the movie and revisit it as adults (some two decades later) didn't even remember the inappropriate stuff, just that it was a little bit of fun.

Travolta is no Divine!!! No one can replace the great Divine.
They might be referring to the grown woman coming very close to making out with young Fred Savage... or maybe the old woman teacher getting all hot and bothered about the love note she mistakenly thought Fred Savage gave to her. Both scenes were a little uncomfortable to watch, but it was also pretty funny and outlandish.
