Those FIENDS

I was watching it today on ABC family and I could swear they cut out my favorite scene from the movie. Greg & Peter shared a room while staying at the Brady house for Christmas. Peter gets up in the middle of the night, awaking Greg. Greg looks and says, "Pete, what are you doing?" Pete looks back and him and says, "I gotta go to the bathroom, Greg." Greg then says, "Have a good time."

This is a real line from the movie and I am upset that it was cut

Well, I don't think it was "edited" for content reasons, it was edited because the ABC family network wanted to have more advertising space. It happens on pretty much all the networks A LOT these days. Makes me wonder what else was cut that I can't remember. :(

You know, I'm pretty sure that the reason you didn't see it is because it never existed. Peter and Bobby slept out in the living room, and Greg slept in the exercise room with his son, and Marcia's son. Marcia's son Mickey gets up, tells Kevin (Greg's son) that he won't go to the bathroom alone. Greg wakes up as they are leaving and asks what they are doing and they say we're going to the bathroom or some such, and Greg responds with "Have a good time." By the way...I don't know the movie THAT well, but I tivo-ed it, and have just now gotten around to watching it and that scene just occured. I had to check IMDB because that didn't look like the real Cindy and it wasn't. I'm sorta bummed out about it. Not that I have ever even seen more than 2 episodes of the original show.

You're right, and I remember it now... It's been several years since I had seen this movie and I was a bit rusty on it. Thanks for clearing that up.

It's been a while since I've seen this movie, but I think there was a scene where Peter and Bobby were awake together in the middle of the night, and I think it's when they were each telling each other about their problems in life. I believe they ended up eating a whole pie in the kitchen. It's when we got to see Peter's sweet nightshirt!

Well I DO remember the scenes very clearly. I've been watching this movie every Xmas since it came out in 1988. It wasn't in the middle of the night that Peter and Bobby were awake in the living room. They were just settling in to go to bed when the scene where the boys confess their problems to each other and ask each other for advice took place. It is only later on in the middle of the night when all the Brady "kids" couldn't sleep because of their various problems that they all got up and ate the pies. Wally was the first to start the pie thing and Greg heard him from the former family room, now the exercise room and came out to the kitchen. Then Peter and Bobby joined them and then next thing you know all the kids are there eating pie in silence each deep in thoughts, pondering on their individual problems.

"I'd rather believe what I believe and be wrong than believe what you believe and be wrong."

Well, sorry for missing on that technicality. It wasn't the middle of the night, it was right as they were going to sleep. Sorry for the big mistake there. It's nice to get every one of your comments nit-picked to death.

I thought Greg was joking.
