The one thing that i remember about this film above everything else is Peter's girlfriend/boss at work, Valerie. I mean, DAMMMMMNNN!!!! Who would have thought that the kid with the cracking voice and the low self esteem/lack of personality would have wound up bagging the hottest of hotties for his very own?

Carol Houston (as Valerie) was six kinds of sexy all put together, and you are made very aware of this in her first scene. When Peter mischievously sits down in her chair at her desk at work, and then she playfully SITS ON HIS LAP, I NEVER WANTED TO BE A BRADY SO BADLY IN MY LIFE!!!
Hey, you think after a fun romp in the sack together, she would make him some PORKCHOPS AND APPLESAUCE??? HA HA HA HA!!!!

Hmmm, just goes to prove how different people's tastes really are. The whole time I was watching it, I was thinking the opposite. I didn't think she was hot or even pretty. I also kept thinking how he coulda found a better match than her---since we're on looks---she didn't fit in with the family, looks-wise.

I know this post is from years ago but i had to reply. Totally agree and you are hysterical! Pork chops and applesauce! Just saw it on hallmark channel and thought the same thing...Peter's the big winner! She was hot.

He wasn't winning in the first/second episode of Bradysomthing (aka The Bradys). He dumped her because she was more concerned about her career than family.
