Marcia Cross LOL

Before she was Bree on Desperate Housewives, I was familiar with Marcia Cross from One Life to Live. When this movie came out and I saw it, I never checked the credits but was positive Marcia Cross played the demon. I was convinced that was her, and even when Desperate Housewives started up, I kept thinking "I remember when 'Bree' played that half naked demon woman in that movie I saw in college." I don't know when I finally decided to confirm it, and ... it wasn't her! It was someone else who was the spitting image of her.

Or was I crazy? Does anyone else think that it looked like Marcia Cross?

I had no idea that was her. It's always astonishing to find out what famous actresses agreed to do before they hit it big.

It's also astonishing to see what big name promising actors will agree to do to make a few mortgage payment as I saw when I cringed in embarrassment for Ben Cross.

Oh no, it was NOT Marcia Cross. I only thought it was, way back when and for many years. It wasn't until I checked it out a year or so ago and saw it was some french actress (it was not a speaking role, needless to say). But she looked so much like Marcia (at least I thought so) that I always thought it was her in the movie.

I think maybe I was looking through Marcia's list on her imdb profile, I think I wanted to see what the name of her character had been on One Life to Live as I could not remember. And then I kept looking through the list, trying to find the movie and thought "well wait a minute ... how come that's not listed here? I thought for sure that was her in the movie ..." Then it turned out it was not her. But it was funny, because I thought "there I thought she did some nude scene in a low budget horror film all these years, and it turns out it was not her!"

Just the same, more than a few popular actresses have done film work that they PRAY never is discovered. I do believe that IMDb allows the talent to "correct" their profiles.
