Mel Gibson or Kurt Russell?

Who was more good looking in this movie?

reply

kurt, no question about it

reply

IMO I prefer Gibson

reply

Kurt any day. Gibson has nice eyes. That's about it. Kurt's got the whole package.

Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

reply

oh my just finished watching the film for first time, i was flipping back& forth between them
they were both good looking, kurt is really nice on the eyes, wonder why he wasnt more of a bigger star, they both have blue eyes, but mel's were dreamy
that's one thing i always notice how hot mel gibson was when he was younger, he had the wholesome package, maybe that's why he turned out to be the bigger movie star!
then who doesnt envy pfeiffer she gets to kiss and make love with two hot guys nevermind they're friends lol and raul julia was a hoot!

reply

Mel Gibson all the way. He was so hot in this film, it's one my favs with him in it.

He made mistakes. He apologized for them and he's been trying to redeem himself ever since. Mel is not a rapist or a murderer. He got drunk and said some dumb things to the wrong people at the wrong time. He's only human. We can't be blamed for our feelings. And then, with the other accusations, he paid for them too. BUT, none of it changes how good he is in front of the camera as well as behind the camera. Cary Grant was notoriously sh!tty as a husband. That doesn't change his status as a great ladies man on film.

Has he? I remember at least two events, one with his girlfriend and one with the cop. I can swallow one bad behavior, if it's followed by quick amends and behavior change. Two is too many in my book, and makes me think his new leaf is more motivated by loss of acting opportunities than true remorse. I suspect I'll always have a creepy feeling when I see him on screen.

Mel Gibson, hand down! :)

What most people don't realize is that at that time when the movie was made, the Coach of the LA Lakers, Pat Riley, was the GQ man with his long slick hair and designer suits, was the inspiration for "Nick" Kurt Russell's character.

reply

They were both in their "pre-smoker's-face" prime, but Russell takes this one.

Least they didn't kill me. That was right considerate, I thought.

reply

since i'm a guy i'm not gonna say either was better looking than the other,, but I will say that Kurt Russel did look more stylish with the clothes he wore.

are you going to bark all day little doggie,, or are you going to bite

reply

There is no comparison.
They are both completely beautiful and at the height of their charms.

Who cares about the story when you get to look at either one of these guys for the films duration..

reply

Mel's a dreamboat; Kurt was too in Overboard with his longer hair. Mel wins this one though.

I am a straight guy. But I have to say that both of these guys were so cool, it was like watching Cary Grant and James Stewart fighting over Katharine Hepburn. They are modern legends for good reason. And both Mel and Kurt both made the mullet look actually work.

reply

Yeah, they were so cool. 
