John 'Mitch' Mitchell

I think there's a mistake in the IMDB listing for drummer Mitch Mitchell of Jimi Hendrix Experience fame. I've always heard he was originally a child actor who appeared in the 1958 BBC television series "Jennings at School". The IMDB page has a listing for a "John Mitchell" (which is Mitch Mitchell's birth name), and lists him as starring in "Jennings". The DOB are different, but suggestively similar, 7/9/47 for Mitch (which is correct) and 6/9/46 for John Mitchell (which is wrong, obviously, if they are the same person).

Anyway John Mitchell is in this film, Tapeheads, and is listed as a member of the Swanky Modes Band. This makes a lot of sense, as there are a lot of rock people in the movie. Can anyone confirm that the John Mitchell in this film is indeed drummer Mitch Mitchell?
