Oliver Stone is a good director.

As good as Eric B's performance in this movie is, the camera work is right up there with him. The scene where the druggies pulls out the camera is so well done. And the ending monologue, with the camera spinning around, showing Eric B's isolation is also masterfully done.

I bet if I watched it with the sole intent of looking for interesting camera work, I would find a few more things worth discussing here. But those two scenes I mention in the first paragraph are what make me have such a high opinion of him.

Oliver Stone is a GREAT!! Director, check out JFK and Natural Born Killers the man is brilliant.

Platoon is my favorite from him though.

I actually think Talk Radio is his best movie, even though I'm sure nobody will agree with me on this point. :)

"Talk Radio" was a great example of his rising star. Eric Bogosian is unbelievable in this entrancing performance, Oliver Stone's direction is really well done, the screenplay is captivating, all around a great film.

Too bad it's Stone's most unknown film after "Heaven & Earth".
