End theme

As simple as it sounds, what is the music used at the end of this film when the callers are on reflecting on their Barry experiences. I have heard it before I am sure.

Thanks in advance!

I have just watched this film, after finding out John C. McGinley was in it, from Scrubs fame.

I was amazed and the last bit of music to play blew my mind.

It's "Telephone and Rubber Band" by Penguin Cafe Orchestra

reply

I didn't realise until the opening credits John C was in it but his performance was really good. Everyone's was really, but Eric Bogosion just blew them all away. Where the hell was his Oscar?

reply

Its in a telecom advert in the UK. can't remeber which. one to one maybe? not sure

reply

Yeah it was in the advert for One2One, "Who Would You Have A One To One With"

It uses a call tone and vaguely resembles the opening of Spacehog's "In the Meantime"--in my opinion.

Could be what you mean, or I'm crazy.

Dig that sound though, gotta see if I can get ahold of it.

reply

You're actually dead on. Spacehog used a sample from 'Telephone and Rubber Band' for 'In the Meantime'.

'For the right price I can give everything up.
Slip into the car, go drivin' to the farthest star.'

reply

It was originally in the movie Malcolm (1986)
