Alan Berg
Alan Berg was a talk radio show host who was shot to death (in 1984) in the driveway of his Denver home. The film Talk Radio may have been based on that true event.

You are right. It is credited in the movie. I used to listen to Berg when I was in Denver for awhile in the early 80s and he was so mean, but so fun to listen to!
