Flashback sequence

During the flashback when Barry's wife walks in on the little orgy thing they're having, are Stu and the women high? or just drunk? That scene was awkward.

I agree. It looks like there is smoke in the house, but Stu and the woman seem coked up. Also another awkward scene is when Kent comes into the studio..his look is so dated, it takes away from the movie. He looks like Bret Michaels.

I mean, how would you expect Kent to be dressed? He's a spaced-out teen from '87 or '88. Why would you expoect him to be dressed like someone from 2013?

Dated? The movie came out in 1988, everyone in it looks dated to some degree. There was nothing dated about a hair farmer wearing denim and a headband at the time. If you had a picture of yourself when you made that post, you would probably look dated by now.
