Eric Bogosian Should have Received an Oscar !

This guy is abolutely brilliant !

I can't think of anyone else that could match his performance in 'Talk radio'.

In fact, given half the chance, Eric Bogosian would be in the same league as De Nero and Pacino.

Give this man an OSCAR now !

Well done Mr Bogosian, for an EXCELLENT performance !

damn straight.stone should likewise have won for this.

Eric Bogosian definitely should have received an Oscar nomination for his mesmerizing performance in this one-of-a-kind movie. Direction and screenplay were also Oscar-worthy.

Not every performance was typically good as a cast in an Oliver Stone movie tends to be, though. That falls under direction. Stone's had the BD award snubbed from him plenty of times, and this is one of the lesser sins of the Academy in my opinion.

However, what we can all agree on, is that Bogosian should have gotten that Oscar (and, you know, some WORK) for this, and Stone should have snagged one for cinematography.

Yes, Bogosian is simply wonderful in Talk Radio. His manic performance had me glued to the screen in awe. I think it's just a great shame that he never went on to appear in bigger films and more prolific roles. I mean playing the lead bad guy in dross like Under Siege 2 can hardly compare to his monumental performance in Talk Radio!

I concur. Bogosian should have at least been nominated for an Oscar for his bracing and bravura performance.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

No question, this is one of the great larger than life performances and you always completely believe Bogosian as the character.

Powerful acting really elevates the film to feeling powerful, I also think it's one of Stone's most powerfully effective films on a first viewing, the tension and ending is truly brutal.

I'm not sure how Bogosian isn't a bigger star, I know he works well and is respected, but this man could have been in so many more great movies.

Stone got robbed but got the "Academy treatment" (meaning: "oh, the superior movie went unnoticed? We'll make up for it.") when he won BD for Born on the Fourth of July later on.

Bogosian's performance in Talk Radio got buried by the Academy and I will never understand it.
