Hated the bizzare karate chick.....what was that anyway? If that was supposed to be a house of witches why didn't they just levitate him on out of there instead of putting us through the cranky old couple and their bad ass karate daughter?
They really should do a Night of the Comet / Spellbinder DVD combo.....
I agree about the karate chick. The thing is the victim (Tim Daly's character) had to show up out at the sacrificial alter place willingly, so they had to go through this whole ruse of not wanting to but finally spilling where she was being "held hostage" so he would go out there of his own free will.
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once. ;)
Very true about that because Kelly Petersons character mentions that to him and I could not believe that Tim Daly did not figure it out that he was going to wind up being the victim in this film.

Why a dvd combo? Night of the Comet is an amazing film on its own! Definitely one of my top favorite horrors.
shareWell have you ever noticed that when you buy a film in a combo pack that there are always other films that you really do not want at all except for a couple of the movies on the disc? I have definitely noticed that. I would buy it if it had Spellbinder and Night Of The Comet on DVD.

Yeah I agree with you about Mrs. Roper making an appearance in the film. I remembered her when I saw her face.
I think that was the security guard for the house to be honest with you and I agree that they should have used their powers to slam him up against the wall a few times and then out a window onto the lawn would have been great for a defensive mechanism against him breaking into the house.
Yeah that would be an awesome double feature for a DVD that MGM could do. I would definitely buy it because it would more than likely appear in a Walmart bin for like $5.00 unless they sold the combo for like $10.00.
