He was getting close to figuring something out. but he had nothing to go on.. Not that he could have done much with all the powers the cult had. But he was on to something..

Because the satanists were all in positions of power, cops, lawyers and presumably retired wealthy people (like the couple in that big house), it was easier for them to hide and appear "respectable"?
