Never released on DVD. Those ebay listings are guaranteed to be illegal copies, which are usually less than reliable.

I bought a couple dvds from ebay of different movies that i knew were not released commerically. One worked fine for a couple months, then fizzled (no scratches at all, tried in two different players). The other didn't work at all from the get go and the seller refused to refund me.

That said, I do hope this movie comes out on DVD...

Buy the region 4, or whatever, and make a copy. That's what I did with my copy of "Battle Royale". Sure, I could buy a fancy DVD player or just pay attention to what I'm buying on the internets, but that would be silly.

Spellbinder is available on Region 4 dvd- which is Australia. I have a copy of the DVD. Kelly Preston and John Travolta did buy the rights to this movie and will not be releasing it at all. From what I heard, the film is not going to have a US DVD distribution. Im not sure about Europe and Asia but.

If you have a multi-region DVD player, buy it.

ok it was released in Australia 92 min version i got mine from http://www.ezydvd.com.au 5 days is all it took from Australia to the UK

"Spellbinder" really needs to come out on DVD already. Anchor Bay has recently been releasing more obscure and overlooked 80's horror sleepers like "Bad Dreams" and "Warning Sign" on DVD, so hopefully they will get around to issuing "Spellbinder" on DVD sometime soon.

Her breasts are amazing.
I don't think there is truth to the rumor about buying the rights.There is alot of 80's movies which have been slow to come to DVD. Two other movies in which Kelly is naked in from the 80's "Mischief" and "Secret Admirer" were just released in 2005.Another one is "52 Pickup",to be released June 12th. Kelly appears topless in this as well.Right before she is killed in a snuff film,being shot 5 times in the chest.Quite disturbing

I bought the region 4 version of "Spellbinder',it's awesome. I also bought a region free DVD player for about $80,it works great and is well worth the money.Now I can buy any region movie and play it on my player.
