Just something I found EXTREMELY odd..

It seems to me, and I'm only 15 minutes into the movie, that already I've gotten a clear image of poor and rich people, as well as racism
Rich people are racists and prudes who talk politely to strangers and sit up straight.
Poor people are either black, Hispanic or a drug addict. They have no respect for others, take sex lightly and carry weapons. They get into fights and deny jocks to sit next to them for no apparent reason. And in the case of this movie may be psychotic serial killers. I mean, in the first 15 minutes I've already seen a Mexican guy attacking a black guy for showing disrespect blatantly and then the black guy pulls a knife and the officer (white guy) runs in and saves the day!
anyone else found this a little weird?

This was a film of the 80's and they were and still are kinda bad about
stereotyping

Yea, but the scene with the fight and the knife being pulled is perfectly accurate un real life lol

This movie is not to be taken seriously. They purposefully made them all stereotypes :)

Didn't notice much racism, only a lot of these people were such jerks I would glady beat the crap out of them all.

I's pretty accurate with all the different races acting like they do in every day reality. Sad but true.

I think the stereotyping was purposeful as part of the humor. Nothing about this movie was to be taken seriously.

If you are taking this movie seriously, you need to watch another movie. The stereotypes were meant as a joke.

"I love all movies that make America look great! Like Rambo 3!" -- it's not supposed to be serious dialogue :)

Ignore the smoke.
