The third just felt too forced. The first two had a reason why Angela's doing something,but this just was just Angela going to another camp to knock off idiots for no real reason. I love this,but it's not my favorite.

I give them all *** (three stars out of four) but for different reasons.
The third was the best because it was a lot of fun (and included the classic line "I've never chopped wood before...").
The sequels are better than the original by a wide margin. The first one was amateurishly done on a production level, and the actors weren't very good. It was basically a murder mystery in a camp slasher setting and beyond the final shot, had no real justification for its existence.
The sequels (meaning parts 2 and 3, the only other "Sleepaway" films I have seen) were clever and satirical in their own way, and looked much better technically. The acting was still sort of lame, but the lead actors (especially Pamela Springsteen) knew what they were doing.

Wow. You guys really do like black comedy over real horror. For me it is
1. Sleepaway Camp 10/10 (huge guilty pleasure of mine)
2. Sleepaway Camp 2 6/10 nice little horror comedy
