Movies which grow funnier with age

I have a soft spot in my heart for John Hughes (JH) movies. The angst/turmoil of Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, 16 Candles, Ferris, Some Kind Wonderful, Planes/Trains/Autos, Uncle B, Great Outdoors, & many other JH movies were a "touchstone" to my young concept of life, growing up, & "coming into your own".

She's Having A Baby, (SHAB), was always a fave, even if it never did well or find a "core" audience. It was cheesy & VERY 80's, but perhaps that's what I love the most. (When u hit 30, nostalgia makes all things of your youth seem pretty & bright...& far less cheesy.) SHAB stands the test of time. It focuses on real themes of having your 1st child, the painful process of adjusting to adulthood, the fears/uncertainty of a new/young marriage, pressures of a budding career, the fight between the dreams of your youth vs. working for a paycheck to afford a home/family, and other topics which r VERY relevant 2 decades later.

It's one of those movies I IDENTIFY with & find FUNNIER as I get older, having actually experienced the issues covered in the movies. So after a LONG intro...

What movies do you *identify* with & find *funnier* as you grow older?

1. Bill Cosby, Himself: As I grow older, I've realized EVERYTHING he joked about was all degrees of truth, making it even more funny than before, as I experience the same things with age. All the things he joked about, such as getting drunk on payday, going to the dentist, having a baby, & raising children, were right on target. I haven’t seen it in YEARS, but I still remember it & apply it to my life some decades later. (Example = my son is also “The Informer”. And all children are deaf to parents, so all parents sound like idiots. “Come here, come here, here, here, HERE! Stop it, stop it, stop, stop, STOP!” When very preggers & miserable, I yelled at my hubby…”U did this to me!”)

2. Office Space: I work for a small software engineering company in Austin, & this movie seems like a near auto-bio. Hate your job? Work for an annoying boss/company? Hate what you do & see no future in it? Then this is the perfect job angst movie for you.

Those are my top 2, which rarely change under this topic. Others include:
~ She’s Having A Baby
~ She Said, He Said
~ The Graduate
~ War of the Roses
~ A Christmas Story
~ Father of the Bride
~ Parenthood
~ etc...

What are your movies you age all too well with?
