Why don't they have a sequel?
It's been almost 20 years since the movie came out....Maybe there should be a sequel showing how Jake handles letting go to his son (he would be 20 years old about now)?

shareThe film was loosely based semi-autobiographically for John Hughes, as his career took off at a later age, and he got married really young, many people don't know this. So a sequel wouldn't really be appropriate.
