Ferris Buller?? Where?

Where was he in this. He's on the credits page but where was he?

"I know this because Tyler knows this"

I totally think that they used stock footage from the movie Farris Buller's Day Off. Since "Farris" didn't actually say anything in his cameo Matt Broadrick probably didn't even get paid for his appearance.

Yes, that is stock footage from the end of Ferris Bueller's Day Off when he asks us, "You're still here? It's over! Go home! Go!"

Actually, Ferris suggests the name 'JIM'...

"she said the jungle just came alive and took him"

It is during the ending credits where all these people are suggesting names for the newborn baby. The joke is that some of these people were in other Hughes' films, or were filming on Paramount at the same time. An example of the latter is Bill Murray. As for good old Ferris, we see a shot of him looking around a corner in his house, which is at the very end of his film. It is basically just a shot gag using old footage.

I just saw the film again and when Farris has his cameo, he looks at the camera and says 'Jim'. It was shot, most likely at the same time when he also shot his post-credits "Go Home...." speach. He's wearing the same bathrobe and doesn't seem to have longer or shorter hair (a good clue that it was shot later) and the footage is from the 'Buller' home. I think that the director had a certain vision which featured a bunch of cameos, so he decided to shoot this line during the shooting of 'Farris Buller's Day Off'
