Another similar-ish movie...

This is making me crazy ... wasn't there another movie that was sort of similar to this in that it dealt with young parenthood and the lead guy kept having hallucination sequences. I'm almost certain it's not this movie. I'm thought the other movie had Robby Benson as the lead, but I can't find it in his IMDB. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Sorry it's semi off topic.

I semi-remember a sequence near the end where the father hallucinates seeing his little girl saying "Don't cry daddy, you have the whole world at your feet" and the hallucination continues and she is a young adult and says the same thing.

Yep, that's got to be it. Thanks! It's weird though maybe it wasn't listed under his credits because I looked under Robby Benson's credits pretty thoroughly. Oh well. Thanks.

I always remembered it cause he wrote & directed it. I love he used his family in it. He's so cute.

Yeah weird.... I searched thoroughly... Ah well, mystery solved at any rate.

NOW to find it on media of some sort. I thought it was a great movie. Goofy and weird, but charming. I saw it several times on cable back in the day. To me it seems way underrated.
