Does anyone know of plans to release a decent DVD of this for the 20th Anniversary next year?
The current Region 2 DVD is pretty poor.
It could do with a new transfer and 5.1 mix and
extras of any kind would be good

I doubt there will be a Special Edition DVD of this movie. Craven had mixed feelings of this movie, once it was done. Since the studio were forcing Craven to make a different feature than he originally intended. I think, it is one of Craven`s better movies. There`s certainly more style here than most of this work. There`s some good performances here, especially Pullman but there`s times in the feature. Where the special effects takes over at times, which it wasn`t Craven`s original intention.
