Anyone remember watching the trailer when you were a kid?

Back then I was a little kid when the trailer for this movie came on tv. Didn't know about the voodoo plot of the movie. When they showed Pullman's character being surrounded by that blood in the coffin I thought it was ooze that was covering him up

Never saw the trailer but I did rent the movie once when I was a little kid. Thought it was awesome. I always loved horror movies.

Did you ever notice that people who believe in creationism look really un-evolved? - Bill Hicks

Was there a TV spot, where there was a long push-in take of that scene where a blonde guy is on the ground, with a symbol on his forehead? I could've swore seeing a TV spot with a long push-in of a guy laying on the ground, with a symbol on his forehead, with the accouncers saying "From the people/director who brought you, A Nightmare on Elm Street". I know the movie has Bill Pullman on the ground, with a symbol on his forehead, but I don't if it's the same symbol, and it doesn't have a long push-in take. This is the closet movie that I think it could be, but I'm still not totally sure.

Was I dreaming this?
