Another disappointment.

I heard of this one a while ago, reading how "scary" it was, so I thought I'd give it a look; I found it on DC (it's also downloadable on #HouseOfHorror on Rizon), downloaded it, and... what a terrible video! If "Don't be afraid of the dark", which I downloaded a while earlier, disappointed me, then this just annoyed me. Plotless, stupid, with awful acting, lousy effects, stupid editing, idiotic dialogue... and, worst of all, it's horribly boring and almost half as scary as a white wall.

As far as scarecrows go, I'll take "Dark night of the scarecrow", a very nice little TV horror which I found and downloaded while searching for this one.

Dark Night Of The Scarecrow is much better than this. However I found the story behind this quite interesting, and the acting wasn't bad at all (did you expect to see Nicole Kidman in it) but the main problem for me is that it is all set in darkness and its unclear what is going on. Theres some gore but its so dark you cant see it.

Agreed. This is one of the most disappointing movies I've watched in a long time. Barely anything good about it (scarecrows look decent I guess and there are 2-3 decent gore scenes). Boring as sin whilst only being 1hr16 minutes long (that's excluding the credits).

Dark Night of the Scarecrow is a brilliant movie. Scarecrows is awful in pretty much every single area.
