I had high hopes, so maybe that was a bad idea, but I actually had to turn it off after the first 40 minutes, because I couldn't believe how boring it was. I mean, for a horror film about killer scarecrows, it sure was filled with a lot of never ending sequences that led to nothing. Everything was too dark all the time, and the first half and hour mostly features these guys walking around the fields, using their walkie talkies!
I'm going to give it another chance because horror fans seem to appreciate this film, but it bored me to death.
I really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation - Maleficent
It's called building suspense and an atmosphere. Maybe you guys are just used to films where there's an gratuitous action scene every 5 minutes and that's fine, but I thought this film was effectively creepy.
