Which version did you like best?
Surprisingly I liked the international version of 123 minutes more than the director's cut of 168 minutes.
How did the other viewers feel?

So did I. I think is was better not knowing why she left and whatever became of her.
shareI prefer the Director's cut.
I am just a girl who likes coffee and tea
I prefer the international version a hundred times better.
shareI very much prefer the original version, although I will admit that I always found the last part a bit incomplete and rushed. However, adding in the story of refinding Elena and explaining that Alfredo screwed them made it an entirely different story - too long and left a bad taste in my mouth. In my view, the shorter version is vastly superior.
shareI struggle with this question. I saw the longer version first, so I cannot unsee and unfeel the heartbreak of the ending. One sees the characters differently. The old man becomes a villain trying to live his youthful frustrations through Toto. I always remember what Roger
Ebert said about the long version, that the movie basically works as its own sequel.

hahahah that's exactly the case! wow
i really think there ought to be an intermediate version. the longer version kind of drags too much
