Does anyone know if the white rabbit's tongue was a real tongue? It was textured in such a way that made it disturbingly realistic. If it was not a real tongue, they did a great job of making it look real. The tongue in "darkness light darkness" had the same qualities.

As far as I know, it was real.
Svankmajer uses real meat and such in several of his shorter films.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was. And the Toad's tongue looks a lot like a cow's.
