"The Radio Times Guide to Films 2010" says in its review of "Alice" (by "AJ" - Alan Jones) that the film "contains dashes of startling eroticism". I have just watched the BFI edition of the film, but can't say that I was startled! Have I missed something?

It sounds like someone has a vivid imagination. Maybe they saw all the socks as phallic symbols or something.

There were a couple of underwear/crotch shots.
