shareI noticed that, too. I was actually kind of surprised they put that in there back in '88. Even more current today.
shareI took it as pure farce back then, not a commentary on the idea that cops get away with shooting people. It's just in line with the gag in 33 1/3rd about honoring Frank for 700 drug dealers killed, 100 wounded. Although even that is more topical now given what's going on in the Philippines.
"Pretentious" is a three-syllable word for any thought too big for little minds.
