Why is it that every Gene Hackman American Classic is criminally underrated on the IMDB? Check out ratings for French Connection, The Conversation, Scarecrow, and this awesome film. Then compare them with overrated tripe like Forrest Gump and The Dark Knight; ridiculous.
shareI love MB, so whether it's underrated or overrated means nothing to me. I've seen it at least a dozen times since '88, and still find it to be a powerful film.
Great news, too: Twilight Time is releasing it on Blu-ray May 12.
