I believe Mexicans are the NEW "Black' in the Deep South now.

Some of it is; some of it isn't. Some of the most racist people in our nation can be found in the inner city ghettos of today. Some of them are in positions of high power, some of them are cloaked as reverends and use racism to further their own agenda while pushing ideology from a cable TV news desk. It all depends upon where you look, how hard you look, who you look at and how honest you are.

Everyone in this country (regardless of race or religion) has an equal oppertunity to succeed. There is no more slavery, no more segregation, and significantly less discrimination, so yeah... we are obviously better. Anyone who doesn't love our country should get the *beep* out

Flash bob jones - if only that was true! That everyone has an equal chance in America. It's not true. Only people who don't suffer racism or are trying to cover up racism say things like what you've just said.
