How big is Dean Stockwell's role in this film?

Is it a leading or supporting role?

I would like to know before I buy the DVD. THANKS!

He's in it throughout the entire movie. He's in it almost as much as Modine is. The movie suffers a little because Mercedes Reuhl is NOT in it as much as she should have been.
