I rented the sequel due to it having decent reviews. I was wondering who were the two survivors of 1?? Bruce Campbell played one and the other was a blond girl they are both cops. Were they corrupt whats the story???
shareNo, they weren't corrupt. They were tasked with the goal of proving Jack (Bruce Campbell's character) innocence in regards to a crime he didn't commit -- the murder of his wife. In addition, they set out to prove to a reluctant police commissioner that Matt Corder, the police officer doing the killing, is in fact still alive.
share3 has some really strange plot. Maniac Cop was actually brought back to life with voodoo, it shows this guy doing a voodoo ritual during Cordell's funeral. Im not even going to explain what he does...but thats how Cordell (Spoilers!) was able to come back to life and take his badge back from the top of his coffin, then of course, he rises back up. This one has some pretty dull killings, except for one cool one. The "gun-pull" killing was kind of funny. It does has some cool fire stunts near the end though. Then it also has some weird, weird plot with some cop who gets in a coma, who i guess is somewhat labeled as a maniac due to some video that was filmed of her shooting at people. It was edited in a way to make her look like she was shooting an innocent person, something like that.)
