shareCome on, there has to be at least ONE horror franchise that gets overlooked by Hollywood. Let's face it, Hollywood bigwigs today don't understand what makes a 70's/80's slasher movie tick. They'll probably waste the first 30 minutes explaining EVERYTHING about the Maniac Cop's background, without leaving anything to the imagination, and they'll probably play the movie too straight, draining the movie of the cheesiness we've all come to enjoy of movies of this type (like they did with Halloween, Friday the 13th - 2009, etc...)
