Maniac Cop Vs. Psycho Cop

Would would win in a fight?

IMO Matt Cordell would win since he's undead. Psycho Cop is just a psycho. The winner is inanimous. Like Jason Voorhees, you are unable to kill the undead, they keep coming back for more. I believe the Psycho Cop is just an ordinary human who is just a plain serial killer, so he would not have a chance against the mighty maniac cop.

Maniac Cop: 1
Psycho Cop: 0

Maniac Cop is not undead or back from the dead. He never died, the prison doctor let him escape, after he was jumped in the shower and survived!

reply

^ I never got quite the discontinuity behind that. In the first, he's alive, but in the sequels, he's a full-fledged zombie.

Maniac Cop is one of the shining examples of awesome slasherness. Psycho Cop just sucks ass.

So Cordell would difinitely win.

reply

Cordell isn't undead (at least not in this one), he just displays mass quantities of "slasher villain imperviability" - much like Michael Myers, he's not dead yet can still take 6-8 bullets in vital areas without as much as being fazed.

Ah hell, it's a slasher flick for Christ's sake - they're not known for being logical. Not making you think is one of their unique points.

Maniac Cop could take them all. Maybe not Jason, but I am sure he would roll with the best of them. I want to see a movie where they are all in the projects, and hire the crips and the bloods to help them fight each other.

Having seen all the Maniac Cop and Psycho Cop films I can honestly say that Cordell would win easily. For one thing he's alot stronger than Vickers; who seemed to be struggling quite a bit when he was trying to break that womans neck in the first movie ,a feat which Cordell pulled off in half that amount of time,.
Not to mention the fact that Cordell regularly tosses grown men around like ragdolls where as Vickers had to use momentum just to get Doug off the ground. Vickers durability feats aren't as impressive as Cordells either for example, in both Maniac Cop 2 and 3 Cordell is set on fire and it doesn't hinder him at all, in Psycho Cop Returns the main heroine sprays Vickers with a makeshift flamethrower consisting of some hair spray and a lighter and he screams in pain and topples over.
The most impressive thing Vickers has shrugged off was falling down an elevator shaft and being impaled both of Which Cordell has survived (Although his fate at the end of Maniac Cop 2 is questionable).

Psycho Cop 0
Maniac Cop 2

The third one at the very least; I think he's still living in the second.

I think we should throw both "Bad Lieutenant" in the mix...

Looking for a movie where a guy keeps looking up meaningless stuff online. Maybe called "My Life?"

Maniac Cop by far. I remember renting Psycho Cop by accident one day and not even being able to make it all the way through.

My bet goes to Maniac Cop!

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.

reply

i was going to write that maniac cop is very very much undead since he took multiple shots and burned to a crisp and stuff but, hey, who knows xD
maybe he just had a really good bulletproof vest and some sturdy sunlotion!

Maniac Cop. Even when he wasn't undead, he's tougher than Psycho Cop. Also, as an undead he could definitely take Jason... at least before Jason could start jumping bodies in Part 9 or became a cyborg in Jason X. Even teleporting Jason from Part 8 could be beaten by him.

Welcome to my Nightmare- Freddy Krueger
