Or even work at a theater while this was playing? I'd love to hear the original thoughts of people and this piece of trash from 1988!

With a total gross of around $6 million, you're more likely to find a sasquatch than someone who actually saw Mac and Me at the theater. Not to mention one willing to cop to it. But I'd be interested in hearing their stories as well.

I did at one of Omaha's theaters in the malls at 7 and thought it was crappy.

I saw this in a theater in New Zealand in 1988 (age 6).

Always remembered it very well. Never put my addiction to Coke, McDs and Skittles down to Mac and Me until recently. Hmmmm.

I saw it in the UK. I must have been 8. I don't remember thinking if was terrible but I do remember realising it was a total ET rip off.

One of my earliest memories, believe or not, was my family walking out in the middle of this movie. I remember being a little creeped out by the aliens (though I don't think it was the reason that we left). I guess my dad thought that the movie was so painfully terrible that he decided to get me and my sister the hell outta there. I was around 4 or 5 and remember being confused as to why we were leaving the theater while the movie was still going though.
